Now being a Garmin Owner I found this whilst playing and thought others may find it useful.

It's basic but allows you to go on and really get to know how to plan long trips!

You haven't bought a Zumo - go wash your mouth out Laughing

Seriously I don't think there is too muchn better than the Rider2/Tyre combo for planning routes.

Bob i'm with you for simplicity and ease of use Tyre is awesome. But try planning fuel stops, lunch, etc then you'll find that Mapsource is better. I'm not talking about planning a ride in this country!
