So, I now have a garage, all my "junk" has been moved across and I really can't decide what to do.

Do I scratch an itch? Clean the bike? Or try out my mechanical (in)expertise?

Where was the "fit stabilisers" option.

If I were you, I'd clean the bike and ride it.

From my memory of your various bike engine faults, they are likely to require a complete strip down to fix the faults (like the gearbox fault on one of them). This will require at the very least, rocker gasket, head gasket as well as perhaps gasket between the crank cases as you're likely to have to split. them - probably £250 worth of gaskets and sundries...

Unless you have a large clean bench to work on, and some experience of working on engines, a decent torque wrench and the relevant settings I would leave the engines for another day.

Unfortunately it's going to be clean OR ride. Cleaning it ain't gonna be a 5 minute job.

Do we have an emoticon for a bike covered in shite? Laughing

Looks like cleaning/maintenance followed by a short ride if I still have the time and the inclination.

Should have me well prepared for the ride on Sunday. Very Happy
