Hello all!
I wonder if anyone can help. I am a researcher for an independent TV company and we are filming a daytime TV programme for ITV1. We are planning to attend Box Hill car park by the Rykas cafe on the morning of Sunday 1st July.
I need to find a couple of characters. By characters I mean people that are confident talking on camera, have perhaps an interesting story and that can show our presenter the ropes and maybe take her in to the Rykas Cafe to sample one of their famous burgers?!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can be contacted at olivia.thompson@twofour.co.uk or called on 01752 727 525
Regards, Olivia

Hello Livvyt, i say you should put your presenter on the back of Wivvy's R1 and take her down the Pirbright esses. That should do the trick! Laughing

A few years ago we were approached by someone representing Grayson Perry to make a CH4 documentary about motorcycles in Epping Forest (As well as being a Turner Prize winning potter, Grayson likes to dress up like a young girl Confused , if that wasn't bad enough he rides a Harley too too Barf). Not surprisingly, the general consensus was that meeting up with a bloke in drag in some woods in Essex was something we were apprehensive about to say the least... A little more info would be good as all of us would like to be portrayed in a positive light, and as motorcyclists we'd want to be sure the program was portraying motorcycles in a positive light also.

Yes of course. The series is a travelog series in the style of Hairy Bikers and also a programme called Ade in Britain. Our presenter is the lovely Lynda Bellingham and ideall we just want to meet a couple of interesting, passionate bikers who are confident to talk to us and can have some friendly banter with Lynda and maybe take her into the Rykas cafe. Any suggestions for potential characters much appreciated - Olivia
