The usual mixed bag of twisty B roads.... Technical and progressive for those that want it but a pretty relaxed pace in general
Meeting point and time to be confirmed _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

I'm going to be relaxed on start time for this one, as work has been manic let's say meet at Box for 9:45 am and leave at 10.15am....
Rana is organising a girlie ride that has been planned for a while, so after first checking your sex, make sure you know which bikes to follow _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

OK, I'm up for this. I'll meet round yours if that's OK Tusky.
Now, length of ride will determine what bike I use. What time do you think the return will be?
Or are you leaving it open ended as it's going to be such nice weather?

No problem at all I will be leaving Four Elms around 8:50am with Madam on her bike as well, as I have to drop an envelope through a door in Crawley.....
My plan would be finish by 2:30 - 3:00pm (probably East Grinstead area), so that peeps can still have a nice afternoon in the sun _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

The morning was more like an obstacle course that a rideout really....
Should have suspected that Surrey would have been full of wannabe Bradleys
Rana was not feeling well so could not do her rideout but great to see.....
Firecracker, Nosnowking, Boudicas, Red Rat, Jimbo, Madam, BanditAli, Slippery, Alan, Waki and Tango at Box.
Getting split by a full on bike race was interesting and what was with the mad lady jumping out on us with red flags in dark woods.... have they not heard of dayglow?
Nice run up with Jimbo and only targeted by one car overtaking a push bike mid bend..... That was the first of many mad bad drivers, deer and general deranged behaviour on the roads.....
Afternoon was a pleasent hoon with Jimbo, Firecracker and NoSnowking doing circuits around Hartfield, Ashdown Forest and Rotherfield.
Thanks to all those that attended and to Jimbo for the tail-gunning..... next rideout will have a proper destination and perhaps a beach and hope you feel better soon Rana _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

A mystery tour is fine by me, makes it more exciting.
Nice to to see FC after so long, and to have a good ol' chin-wag.
Some of my favourite roads in beautiful weather. Perfick again.
Plus - getting home in time to see the final 50k of Le Tour de France _________________ So many roads, so little time. |

Great day out, thank you Tusky!
Some great roads to play on and fantastic company. I felt a little saddle-sore yesterday evening though after all those bumpy roads At least we got to see some very interesting driving manoeuvres and some wildlife! |
