A few pics of the new bike. Phone camera doesn't like bright sunlight so they're a bit washed out.

Really nice attention to detail on it, such as removable scuff plates on the rearsets, Yam logo on the tail and front headlight, grippy sides to the tank, hugger as standard, braced gull type swingarm. It's taking a bit of getting used to, but very much enjoying it Very Happy

It now needs the clear indicator lens kit, as the orange ones are a bit fisher price. Am debating a tail tidy also.

@NAPA121 yep, just like yours but slower Laughing

@bumble, exhaust looks worse in the side on pics. Considering many oem exhausts, not mentioning any names (Suzuki, Honda) I think they've done a pretty good job Wink Can't be arsed with a loud can anyway so it's not top of the shopping list.

Nice looking bike - I've seen a lot worse looking exhausts than that one - looks ok to me.

I have had two bikes now with aftermarket exhausts, the Bandit/Fuel exhaust sounded like a shotgun going off on the overrun, and the Versys/Ixil lost me 25-30% Shocked fuel economy. Without spending £600+ on an Akro or Yoshi system, I'm happy with the stock can. IMO, hats off to Yamaha for even bothering to put a triangular can on a mid-range bike. Cool

Yes, very nice. I'm going over to the dark side as far as colour goes too. Wink

Hope to ride with you soon so I can see it in the flesh.
