Could be at your's around 9.00 then should be at South Mimms just after 10.00 allowing for M25 traffic. At the services we'll meet up in the main food hall, then fuel up and head North !! Very Happy
And a point regarding the cottage, towels are included in the rental which can save some space in the luggage. Cool

And here's a view of where our cottage is located, the village of Ballachulish.

The A68 is a great road, but North of Carter Bar, it's riddled with speed cameras

Waki you go first to set them off then we can all slow down.

Last time I did that road was whem I bought an Aprilia Futura in Glasgow, took the train up, hotel for one night then rode home.

I seem to remember the cameras were all facing north, ie the way we are going, I set off several but I was going the wrong way for a picture.

Great great road.

My first time was on a Honda 400/4 in 1981. I remember that bike felt like the most powerfull thing imaginable. Rode one last year and it was horrible.
