That gives me a warm fuzzy feeling...

Quote:
1964 it started, I lived in Loxley Road wandsworth and at 17 years old as a plumbing apprentice i bought a honda 50 from taylors of balham. it cost £79 gns brand new. However i started to get wonderlust and used to ride further and further at week ends and finished up at BOXHILL. Well that was the start of 50 years of visits to the surrey beauty spot that i still go to even though i now live in somerset [CREWKERNE].

I remember that there was an attendant in the car park in those days, can't remember his name though.great times I remember in those days with me mates on mostly British Motorcycles. I still call by when I come up for the PIONEER RUN at Epsom Downs. These days I still have a Cub[90cc], a 1200 Harley and a Honda 700 Transalp, it's usually the Transalp I use on longer trips. Happy days boys , just keep riding ..
G P Everitt.
