That's why it is so important to look in the distance and scan back.

Many will remember Matt and Mouse drilling this into everyone and it really does work because your eyes and head move and stop you losing detail in your peripheral vision Cool

Shame that the Ducati 996 riding Porsche garage owning bint that pulled out in front of Bradley Wiggins didn't do it properly Confused

Interesting indeed, and only confirms my personal experience.
Certainly get lots of people pulling out in front of me on my bicycle, even if I make eye contact. Not so much on the motorbike, but still more often than I would like.

I'm now finding more and more drivers pulling out in front of me when I'm in the car! I do tend to drive slower than most in built up areas, so maybe I'm just not visible to them.

After reading that I'm going to get a flashing LED headlamp for my bicycle, and leave it on all the time. Already do so with the rear anyway, so I'll have a matching pair (but different colours Laughing ).

blue and red?....maybe a siren to go with em?
