If you were a DJ and your christmas party/wedding party was flailing and the dance floor was empty, what 5 choons would you play that would get people back up onto the dance floor and bopping?

its a good question and a good Dj would have been noting the general age of the crowd and any previous records that had shown any interest but usual crowd pleasers are

cmon eileen ( usually at least one asks where eileen as she sounds a game girl)
hi ho silver lining ( in this case its the fact eileen is a game lass)
sweet caroline ( normally gets asked " is she a mate of eileen )
the can can ( usually gets granny up and hi kicking her way to the bar)
We are family (if a wedding you can hear the father in law sayin " no we bloody aint")
sleepy jean ( sod her im going back to eileen)
Billie Jean ( every crowd has an MJ wanna be)
Macerena ( usually gets the girlies up and going)

depends on the age/enthusiasm of the crowd... I.e. how pissed they are...

Quite cheese tastic but the following got everyone up at wedding I was at on Saturday...

Amy winehouse Valerie

Guns n roses sweet child o mine

Guns n roses paradise city

Van halen jump

Bon jovi livin on a prayer

Queen don't stop me now

Queen bohemian rhapsody

ok more than 5 but recall them being the most successful get everyone up choones. The three times 'gangnam style' were played were a complete fail... again that may have worked better with a different crowd.
