Heading down to Tavistock for a few days so no bike for me while i'm there. However i plan to have one last ride in 2012 on Monday 31st STW. Don't know where to, but will be at Box @ 10.00 am if anyone's up for a ride or just a hot drink 'n a chat. Smile

Hi Waki, enjoy your time Tavistock.

I fancy a blast out on two wheels after the Xmas excesses. See you at Box.

Cool

Look forward to seeing you at Box for a cuppa Cpt Slow.

Waki, just an idea. Pluckley in Kent is one of the most haunted villages in southern UK. From screaming man of the brickworks, a gypsy woman who burnt herself to death, a highwayman, horse and carriage, Phantom Monk, haunted houses the Pinnocks and Rosecourt. Ghost in a lane and screaming woods to name but a few.

It also has some leylines running through it and high levels of magnetic readings which i am currently researching with my dousing tool.

Not sure how much of a run you fancy doing.

Pluckley is just over an hr from Box Hill and a pleasant ride through some Kent countryside. Weather permitting of course, it could make for an interesting ride out. As said just an idea, i remain open to any other ideas/suggestions. The UK has many choices and places of interest.

Smile

Hair Raising Sounds like it could be somewhere different to head for, thanks Michelle. We'll see how things stand weather wise on the day.

Will be good to catch up with you too Steve.... Smile

Although it's not raining here yet, it's pretty rough and windy. Think I will wait until tomorrow. Sad

I was planning on attending this, but the weather looks pretty grim from my window, and it looks like getting worse as the day goes on.

So, sorry Waki, not for me. You'll probably end up having a great ride in lovely weather now (and I hope you do). 2013 next ride for me then!

Enjoyed that !! happy biker Bit windy and slippery coming down from Ranmore into Dorking, but good fun. Hardly any rain and, as i stuck to main roads, no floods to deal with. Very Happy Me and my trusty KLR were the only ones at Box but hopefully, hangovers allowing, there will be more tomorrow. Wink But for now i have a clear head.....and a dirty bike. Smile

ps...Rykas will be open as normal new years day. Wink
