Has anyone been to The Stella Alpina Rally in the Italian Alps. Its an annual event held the 2nd Sunday of July in Bardonecchia which is a ski resort in the winter.

Its an event designed to challenge your riding off-tarmac and as i understand it pan european riders have ridden it and it not impossible for most bikes, but challenging.

If you have attended this rally, can you give some feedback about your own personal experience and whether you thought it worthwhile.

The Adventure Bike Rider magazine did an article on the rally a while back......seemed to have a good attendance from the UK. If i have time before Mondays ride, i'll try and sort it out and scan you a copy.
