So having used the Conti Motions for the last couple of sets which performed well but didn't last as well its time for a change again shortly.
So an email comes through today with pair offers on Metzeler Roadtec z6 and Pirelli Diablo stradas.
Both good for Sports tourers apparently, who on here has used what and what did you reckon to them? _________________ Anything you say may be taken down and used as evidence in a court of law, or boxhill forum!!

Used Pirelli Diablo Stradas on the ZZR and they are good if not ancient history in the evolution of tyre technology - cheap though. I bought mine from M&P albeit over a year ago.
Tyre of choice if funds permit would be Roadsmart II - had several pairs of the Roadsmarts and would have difficulty being persuaded to use anything else.
Nothing is harder on tyres than the ZZR1400 yet still get 3500-4000 on a rear.
Essential Rubber in Bow would be who I would entrust to fit them. _________________ "Those who understand compound interest are destined to collect it.

I had the z6 on my blandit and liked them, last for quite a few miles too. Would like to try the diablo's sometime as I've heard good reports on them. _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |
