Hi Guys
I know this is my first post, and i dont want to seem like im just coming on here to pitch an event, but, I thought it would be good to let you guys know about it.
We are 4 bikers who love track days, we have got together and set up our own track day company -
TrackDayEvents
For our maiden track day we have booked the Brands Hatch circuit for you guys to have some great track time and a great evening.
All the backroom stuff is covered by MSV, but getting bums on seats and covering all the costs is down to us, so give us a go guys, you wont be disappointed!
Come and join us for a super spring evening of track time at the great Brands Hatch.
We have tried to spice up the normal trackday event and have:
- BSB rider Dayne Blackburn on site for help and advice
- Lovely Pit girls for chat and photos
- Prize raffle
- Full sunshine and maximum temperatures (ok, maybe we cant guarantee this one!)
Also on site:
- Tyre service
- Suspension service
- Spares shop and parts
- Photographer
The evening will be run as
2 separate groups
1. Novice/Slow Intermediate
2. Fast Intermediate/Advanced riders
1 x 15min session (to include sighting laps) then a minimum of 3 x 20 minute sessions, run continuously, loads of track time, without long periods of waiting in between.
Signing on starts at 3.30pm
Here is the link to book:

I'm all over this... Seems like a good price. Just one thing though, the link site recommends that you do a novice only day first... Will it be a problem if I wanna come along to this one if I haven't been on a track before?.. _________________ Not man enough for an R1....... FZ1's are cooler anyway |

Indy Jo, which I'm lead to believe is the shorter version.... Which is good for me as a novice but judging by your latest avatar you've been doing a few track days lately...!!
Don't wanna put you off though, I'd love you to come along and keep me company _________________ Not man enough for an R1....... FZ1's are cooler anyway |

That was from end-2011 Better ones last year - at least I'm not rocking the yellow vest!
A bit of a way to go just for the Indy, though I do have the day off that day as I'll be in between jobs!! Hmm.......................!! _________________ Baby Biker Babe!

How do you monitor who's in what group? I've been on plenty of track days where there have been blisteringly quick riders in novices and complete track novices in intermediates/advanced...
I understand the dilemma you're faced with and can see that if you change someones group you either piss them off or make their day... and no one wants a pissed off customer.
Am very tempted myself as track time has been limited for me of late... _________________

Oops - won't have my bike that day now so can't do this unless I find someone generous enough to lend me one _________________ Baby Biker Babe!

HI guys, sorry but my mail system put your replies in my spam folder! Damn laptop!
The evening has 2 groups, novice/slow intermediate and
fast intermediate/advanced
We will be onsite all day and evening, so will keep an eye on riders and check no one rides stupidly.
I think its one of those things thats a bit like how car drivers think of bikers....
They see 1 nutter hareing down the inside of the middle and fast lane of a motorway at 120mph and think we all do it!
Ive yet to see a real stupid rider on a trackday, but there is always someone that has and then it gets around that all trackdays are like that!
we want to make the evening really great, good fun, and friendly.
come and join us |
