I'm really sorry, life has got in the way and I won't be able to make this now.
***********
Departing NEWLANDS 9am and exploring the roads Oxfordshire way via Henley, possibly stopping off at H Cafe for lunch: OX10 7LY
I know some of the roads well, others not so well, so don't expect a blistering pace all the way (or even part of the way)...
Am flexible on start time but want to leave reasonably early to miss the traffic.

I'll add a preliminary "I'm in" but don't hold me to it, it'll be nice to ride some different roads but if I'm honest I was in agony by the time we left box for home today and the ride back was a struggle, hopefully the coming week will see doctors give good news that its nothing serious and an easy fix will be available. _________________ Rust is lighter than carbon fibre! |

Have fun. _________________ "My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, anyplace, anytime. And anyone who disagrees with this can pick a number, get in line and kiss my ass"

Hopefully the doc will be able to do something for you. Failing that, maybe you should consider a nice comfortable adventure bike |

Cool I like adventure bikes! I'll be on a black honda bros wearing a bright yellow marushin helmet. I may be joined by the old man on his ducati who may or may not join us on the full run _________________ 1st 2004 honda cbr125r(learnt on now gone), 2nd 1989 Honda Bros(1st "Big bike") |

Well I spent most of the last two days phoning everywhere in the south for a tyre, couldn't find one so wasn't coming, glad I didn't get up and break the habit of a lifetime to be there at 9am.... Tough break, don't fret about cancelling, the thing that usually gets in the way for me a involves the letters w.o.r.k... _________________ The Resident Forum Ghost |

It was very lonely at Newlands and on the ride. Didn't go to Oxfordshire as it was just as easy to get soaking wet and covered in mud round this neck of the woods .
It was a spur of the moment decision to join the ride, and I didn't have time to power up my steam computer to check the forum before leaving.
Oh well, it got me out of going shopping!
Heres to the next one .
