My Tuono was about 120BHP on a good day and that seemed a lot.
Still when was too much enough?
Be interesting to compare torque curves with existing Super Dukes. I read an article recently when they examined throttle position against track position and speed, full throttle and full power was rarely used. Big torque at low revs is what you feel and use 95% of the time and is more important than BHP with is just work done over a period.
Maybe why the 690 feels so good. _________________ Blue smoke and a ring ding ding |

So if I remember rightly 144 the torque figure, that's a lot and also the point 100 of that is available from 2500rpm! Is it to much? probably..would I use it all...probably not.. Do care ? Not a jot...can I afford it? Hell no! Estimated at 14k.. But a man can dream _________________ The Resident Forum Ghost |
