It'll only do it once the revs drop below 2000 mind so I only do it if I'm slowing down.

Sorry m8 that's bollox.... clutchless down shifts are ok... just take a little more practise to get dead right... bad downshifts prob knacker the selectors....

Down shifting blipping the throttle and doing the tea pot past yer m8s really hacks them off...

Clutchless upshifts are something I've been doing over the last year or so, especially after talking to others on this site.
Love 'em!
Although not totally clutchless, I level out the revs and just take the lever in a tad and snick up a gear. Smile
I thought clutchless downshifts were a no-no - bad for the gear box.
So tell me more f1reblade! Smile

Never from 1st to 2nd, too snatchy as Chilli said. Other than that all the time if hooning it. If really hooning then keep throttle pinned and a quick off/on of the kill switch as I change up. Don't normally downshift as I don't find it as smooth as clutched.

I never downshift without the clutch - mainly as I was advised not to on a track day by an instructor. Didn't enquire as to the reasoning, just obeyed orders!
