Making a start on my rainy day project using scraps of material that may or may not one day become a reciprocating steam/air engine...
Cylinder bored & polished (mild steel) & piston (stainless). 31mm bore, 40mm stroke
Cylinder covers next, and then ports & valve chest. Not building it to any strict design, just making it up as I go along & little bits and bobs of material appear for the right price. Piston ring will be delrin/acetal rather than cast iron. _________________
