Well I thought I had the examiner from hell as the guy on the same DAS course got failed on his final shoulder check pulling back into the test centre. Turned out to be ok _________________ "Deja Moo" the feeling you have heard this Bullshit before |

Thanks guys. Yeah, will go out on a longish ride this weekend somewhere new and ride how I would in a test. E.g. Sticking to speed limits, if not a bit under, taking it easy, smooth, remembering all my observations and sticking to the centre of the lane.
Its only 30 minutes I believe so I will try to drag it out (e.g. not lane filtering) |

Burgess Hill. My instructor said that the independent bit, they just say "okay go to haywards heath now" and you have to follow the signs etc. Not looking forward to that at all haha.
Think ill be happiest by far on country lanes, just pottering about or on the A23 if we go onto it.
Hope I dont do anything stupid like forget a lifesaver or accidently leave indicator on eek! |

It may have changed but my understanding is.... that if you can't hear the examiner then they cant fail you for what route you choose to take
Funny that they do an eye test and not a hearing test
My examiner got all my favourite routes around Crawley and amazingly.... as if by magic... the intercom worked again, just as I approached the test centre _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

I had to stop quite a few times during my test. Apparently the p.o.s bike i was on was interfering with the intercom. The higher the revs the louder the crackle. I pulled over a couple of times and tapped the side of my lid because i couldnt hear him at all, only for him to tell me with perfect clarity " pull away when you are ready..." when what i wanted to hear was a left or right |

There are a couple of decent examiners there.
When I did my independent he said "follow the signs to Burgess Hill". The next sign at the traffic light was obscured by a tree, so he told me to turn right anyway! _________________ Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window! |

Waiting for a call from the docs as bloods are abnormal . High thyroid antibodies plus 2 other abnormal markers that have to be discussed . On the positive side, the Thyroid thing can cause others problems including depression . _________________
