Be carefull Kev...that's two run ins with cars in two weeks.
WPMOT....A message from the organizers of Guilfest.....
..'"Scotty Events Ltd regret to announce that Guilfest has ceased to trade due to poor ticket sales at this year’s event in July.
We assess that this was down to the worst weather conditions we have experienced in history of the festival, combined with intense competition presented this year from other events. On-going matters now lie in the hands of the insolvency practitioner Leigh Adams LLP.
Tony Scott and the Guilfest team would like to extend their thanks to everybody who has been involved in working with the festival in its 21 years, the artists who performed and of course the thousands of attendees, without whom none of the events would have been possible. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to organise Guilfest and see it evolve into the renowned festival it has become."
Yet another festival bites the dust. _________________ Just call me Waki. |

Not pissed me off, but made me very sad.
One of my daughters friends from university was killed in the Nepalese air crash . It is also 5 years exactly that one of my sons friends at school was killed crossing the road.
The enormity and the tragedy really hit home when it's this close.
Condolences to all those involved. _________________ So many roads, so little time. |

Things like this seem a million miles away when the victims are anonymous to us. to all those who perished. _________________

WPMOT. Why the feck can't all the people who dig up the road not get their heads together and not dig up a road that has been resurfaced in the past year or so? FFS _________________

As. if! With all the communication tools we have available to us now, most people are so busy texting and face booking, they've forgotten how to have a simple conversation. Sad really. _________________ An open mouth is a straight line to the mind.

WPMOT. Road rage... What is it with some people.
So I am sat at temporary lights and they change, the driver in front of me is distracted by texting or something, so I leave it for a few more seconds and when they don't move off I give a single toot on the horn to be greeted with a tirade of and jestures. So we move off, and they continue... the driver speeding up and slowing down. So I pass them and I get flashed, more signs and signs... So I stop adjacent to a traffic island to find out exactly what the problem is only be be greeted by a tirade of abuse from a frumpy foul mouthed middle aged fishwife. Maybe she has tourettes or something? _________________

WPMOT... Well last night actually... Wanted a copy of my car insurance certificate, so I went through my paperwork and found no certificate, but a letter saying that I could print one if I went online & registered... So I tried, but the website kept chucking me out, so I rang the company and they refused to help me because they had the wrong date of birth for me...
[Indian accent]"I am solly Sir, we cannot vellyfly you for the data protection as the date ov birth you have givens is not correct[/Indian accent]
Suffice to say there was considerable last night as I tried to explain that it was their fault, not mine.... especially when they said the date of birth is on your certificate _________________

Bloody Vodafone arbitrarily increasing their line rental charges....notification by text, no less, of a change effective 1st November. Talk about double standards. Called to ask why, was told its a govt charge related to inflation. Said that if I want to change my contract or cancel I have to give 1 months notice and pay for the rest of the term. I don't think so....
Waiting for a call back from their legal team. _________________ An open mouth is a straight line to the mind.
