Its all coincidence I tell you!!!

Laughing

In truth, I don't really believe that women are better drivers. But neither do I believe that men are better drivers. Gender has bugger all to do with it.

For the most part, I think that it is down to experience and, to be fair, for the most part, the majority of men probably spend more hours on the road than the majority of women. Conversely, however, spending more hours on the road will inevitably increase the probability of your finding yourself in a potential accident situation (hence the real reason why men pay more for insurance - my ex-husband once got the female rate of insurance by virtue of being an unemployed lone parent ...honest ...good broker!)

My conclusion....
Men are statistically more likely to be involved in an accident ...but women, having less experience, are more likely to be involved in an accident per-driven-miles

Hmmmm... OK Boys...

I also - like Slappy - have made specific observations regarding general road behaviour.
The majority of people for example still do not understand roundabouts.
THEY ARE CROSSROADS WITH A LUMP IN THE MIDDLE.
Therefore, if you are going straight ahead, you do NOT signal right as you approach the roundabout, then signal left as you approach your turn-off. But count how many people do, the greater number being women.
It was interesting to note in France how many people move over to give you room to pass.
But even there, women did not - without exception.
So imagine how much worse it is here.
And then double it.
And I won't even start on how many people now drive permanently in the outer lane of two - or even three - lane carriageways.
Women seem to think the outside lane is for them, invariably in a low-powered car.
And will they move over?
Am I the King of Siam?
The middle lane, and the outer lane are for OVER-F*CKING-TAKING..............................!!
Got that?

rolling on the floor laughing when asked what he had done a prisoner claimed to have killed his spouse with a hammer.
When asked how he felt about it "i really miss her" was the answer ,he now recieves counciling for his grief and apparently this is the case in a majority of murderers.

this subject deserves a whole new thread

cnut car drivers!
Worst one had to be on our way to the local bike meet, watched in horror as a guy on a millie who was nearly forced into the central reservation by some silly cow who didnt know what lane she wanted/where she was going etc.

And seeing the ambulance head up chelveston road (our local bike meeting place), towards the end of the night-never a good sign. Sad

Noooo BUT IF you had done as the doctors said and not rode it AT ALL (the r1), or mowed your lawn, kept it in the sling..(the list could go on) then it prob would have healed by now imo. Rolling Eyes
