I FUCKIN HATE THIS NEW MOT COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!

what a pile of shit, designed by muppets who've probably never even been anywhere near a motorbike

for starters the computer and hardware itself is 7, yes I did say 7 years old!
it's still using a 14" crt monitor which I'm told goes against current H&S legislation
it's connects to the VOSA & DVLA through my phone line which causes havoc with incomming calls to add to this it's (wait for it) a 7k modem!
so it takes longer to connect and download things then Wivvy takes to sort his forks out!
the potentiol for cock ups is huge and it's me that gets the shit if it does
it's brake testing figure calculations don't match the machine I use which is calabrated twice a year to prove it's accuracy therefore most of the figures I put in from my brake tester which are genuine passes the computer tells me that it fails!
and it times me so if i take less then about 45 mins between logging and registering the MOT test and entering in the test results it reports me and can even lock me out of the system until I've been investigated by the VOSA
this is funny as I had a spot check from the VOSA last week and passed with flying colours

all in all it's a crock of shite and is gonna cause headaches for a long time until some paper pushing fuckwit actually talks to bike testers like me and finds out how to do it properly

and finally the 7 year old dot matrix printer they issue me with has allready chewed up 3 certificates

all this and I'm less then 1 day in on it's use

they haven't deferred divvy they just haven't had the VOSA in to make it live etc yet they will have to go computerised soon I've had the equipment in since March but they only came to hook it up yesterday!
