Blew a tail bulb last sunday, ordered a pair of LED one's to fit off ebay, but haven't arrived yet. Will have to go out and buy an ordinary one, unless I borrow one from the scooter I'm fixing for my brother ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

Some woman at work telling me I should wear a dayglow jacket on my cycle so I am seen easier. She has driven passed me, then made the comment when at work. Found out she has glasses, but is too vain to wear them ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

BS7671 IEE regulations states that a ring main can have as many sockets as ya like and from each socket on the ring it is permissable to take a leg off to one socket or fused spur unit.
Although it is not common practise it is not ILLEGAL to add an immersion/water heater to this cicuit.
WHY ? because the element of the heater is imersed in water and more likley to go faulty and cause problematic tripping (as per divvys case) and is normally therefore given its own circuit.

It's not an immersion heater it's a combi boiler and therefore is the heating aswell, the heating had been lowered but still on all night when it tripped out, it's all the sparks could think was the cause as the kitchen sockets are run on a different fuse so it couldn't be the fridge freezer and thats the only other thing that cuts in and out _________________

It is still normal practise to dedicate a single circuit to any water heating unit so that in the event of a ring main failure your heating is still operational.
This is in the same way that a water storge tank is used for non drinking water so that in the event of you losing you water supply you still have water for bathing. |

Mum gave me a bar of diabetic chocolate to try,(she's diabetic, not me). I ate the whole 100g bar, while watching a film. About an hour later, stomach started rumbling. I read the label, 'if you eat more than 20g in a day, it may have a laxative effect'. Shit ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

That's the old "never overtake untill it's almost impossible for the person behind to follow ya" principle. Note that I said "almost" _________________ The lunatics have finally taken over the asylum |
