Go for it Steve. Treat with respect, they can bite back. You will love the adrenalin rush when you wind it open though. Just be careful of bumpy bits, they bounce around a bit.

well.....

F*ck me sideways

what a ride. Razz
rode the zx6r and it was awesome, every gear has got pull in any range, and it looks stunning!

gets to speed very quickly, and it just feels so steady. The only down point to this, is the insurance is gonna kill me, and also, there was a ticht turn that i struggled with...

I aslo tried out the gsxr600. very nice to ride, perhaps more comfy than 6r, but i felt tht it was slower, and you had to be in the right revs for top perfomance. also, full lock on the bike, and your arm gets in the was with the tank. found the handling a bit better, this all could be because i had spent an hour oin the zx6r, and was getting used to the power.

Anyway, well happy, and im definately upgrading when i have the money! cant wait. Cool

made my bike.....

confused as to which one though now...

reading loadsa reviews, and the gsxr and r6 come out better than the zx6r.
6r is meant to be mental, but thats why i enjoyed it...i think. its more expensive on insurance though.

will probably have to wait until next march so i have more no claims on insurance..

steill buzzing from it all, just very confused as to which one Smile

Will be good to have you out there mate, a friend on foreign territory. Its the party round of the season so be prepared for some drunken fun on the Sunday night. Not sure if you want a go, but, the sidecars take people out for a charitable donation. I can't wait to sit on the tea tray and have a go. If interested, let me know and I shall book.

And thats something that has made me smile, knowing I have such a good mate as Duncan.

I would also like to thank people for the comments after my disasterous weekends racing. Its all been taken on board and the support is very much appreciated. The Chuffster shall be out and rocking again very soon.

Your bike must be way lighter than mine, I have to be doing at least another 20 to get the bike off the ground.
