Nearly got taken off today, some dopey driver pulls out of a roundabout and he's looking to his left all the time, even with me beeping my horn he's still looking the wrong way! 
Nearly went around in front of him as I was approaching, but brain said 'woah' this dude looks dodgy, so started to apply brakes when he pulled out in front. Lucky that.
Thought about opening the throttle and creaming into the side of the car, very tempted just so I could stitch the guy up and next time he'll learn to look the RIGHT way. |

Erm think I broke summin on my new Blade  I'm a bit of a fiddler and in a rush this morning to get to work I pulled a pipe (long story) and something went 'crack'. Now the intake flap is permanently closed so the bike won't run properly....*gulp*
Guess I know what I'll be stripping this evening then, ho hum!

Public Transport
How do people cope without a bike ?
It took me an hour to get home from Hartgate Honda on the bus. Whereas it took 3 minutes to get there on the Bike !!!!!????????????????
Its about a 30 min walk, just to add injury to insult !!!! |

3 motors pulled out on me today, and only for one of them was I breaking the speed limit, & only then by 10mph!, best one was 50 limit country lane, stretch of about 1/2 mile road visibility, doing a shade over 50. car at a side road sees me, hesitates about pulling out, then does so - annoying so far, but not really dangerous, instead of adjusting speed, I think, well I can see her eyes looking at me, she's obviously seen me, and hesitated & when she's pulled out she's stuck to the pavement side of the road, therefore I can see ahead, theres plenty of space on my side of the road to overtake.....until she decides to cross over to the centre line as I've committed & there's now an artic coming the other way.
& why do car drivers hate being overtaken by bikes sooo much, had a couple decide to move into my way in traffic too |

| Dont think they realise how pointless it is, was peeling off a roundabout, 2 lane exit, volvo.... on my left, and he then decides as i'm level with the front of his bonnett to accellerate as quick as he dared & sit about 1/2 foot from the arse of the car in front. dunno what he thought he was achieving, but I gave him 1 out of ten for effort..............which I showed him with my hand |

well I am without my car for a week, and it has made me realise how much I value it, luckily town is not far so I can walk there and back. Mind you in this wind outside , it will take me a few seconds to get there and back |

good for you, being a car driver myself I know how many stupid people are on the road and it makes me embarrassed when cars do not watch out for bikes |
