Mr savilavitoriloutoiou (or whatever) has looked at my x-rays and had a grope of the old shoulder and come to the conclusion that my collar bone is indeed still broken!! looking at the x-rays, it looks the same as when i first broke it nearly SEVEN weeks ago!!!
as the consultant who normally looks after me is away till monday, i have been signed off for another SIX weeks or until mr wossisname has spoken to my consultant on monday to see whether i should have an OPERATION and have plates welded into place! should that be necessary, and i had the operation next week, plus four weeks where i couldnt do a thing and then have the plates removed and then recoup time......sigh!!
IF, my consultant says wait the six weeks and then decide on the operation.....you can see where im going with this!
all in all, i should be back on the road....August-ish 2007!
BOLLOX!!!!!
anyone wanna buy an R1? |
Mr Greek person at Frimley Park was the consultant who f*cked up my foot. I broke my talus in an accident 2 years ago, and according to him and his underlings the talus is "an insignificant little bone" which causes no issues..... it never actually healed and I had to have it rebroken on BUPA last year ... the private consultant was furious.
My advice would be get a second opinion ... I would not trust him. |
that was a second opinion!! the first was a private BUPA chap who said on monday that the shoulder was fully healed and would present no further problem..... |

Go with the BUPA chap ... or get a second second opinion ... Mr totally unpronounsable was terrible ... they misread xrays, set my foot and then did not re-extray (big no-no apparently) it, left shards of bone lose in my foot (which BUPA later removed) ... loads of problem ... I would be very nervous about ever having to go back to him _________________ Are you ready boots ... ? |

unfortunately, needs must. i will find out on monday anyway if he has cocked up or not as he has to talk to my own consultant. If i need an op, i will then go to the insurance comapny and insist on private! |

Fair enough .. but make sure you're assertive with them on Monday ... really quiz him about what he's done and why ... check he's looking at the right Xray and not the original one, they come up electronically so it's easy to see, and ask him why there's such a difference in opinion ... and get him to explain his reasonings ...
If you don't push them at Frimley they just say nothing ..
Good luck anyway _________________ Are you ready boots ... ? |

well...monday was an assesment for insurance reasons, and to be fair, he didnt take an x-ray and i do actually feel ok with it. It does hurt like nothing on earth at times, but i did get to see the x-rays, old and new and can see the difference as todays were taken what can only be described as wide screen |

Just had my renewal notice through, my insurance runs out on the 10th June and they have rather kindly knocked my NCD to zero; apparently being taken off by uninsured w@nkers and NOT claiming apart from through the MIB (who have yet to pay out) classes as a claim. This means an insurance renewal premium of £900 (€1300 euro) unless I can sort something out with regard to this I am starting to look doubtful for my bike trip to the south of France in June
£900 insurance (rather than about £400)
£180 new tyres
£600 spending & petrol & new stuff for trip
Equals a lot more than i've budgeted
Hopefully my call to Carole Nash on Monday will sort this otherwise I am up the preverbial creek with out a paddle
Pissed off.... you bet I am! _________________

A very effective strategy! ...If it worked for you, perhaps you would reccommend it to Biggus??!
Alternatively ...you could assassinate the "uninsured w@nker", and Biggus could take out the woman who knocked you off (I think Hitchcock did something similar, but it was a long time ago so surely no-one will remember...?) |
