If this is not a wind up ...... you'll gain a whole lot more than you will loose ... this is the 1st step to recovery

You know we'll always be here for you...

If you ever need to chat, I'm a good listener!

And, seeing your post, makes my planned rant about the weather seem somewhat insignificant.

Here's one friend you won't lose matey! If you do lose any they weren't your friends.

If you've admitted it you are well on the way to recovery, so I wish you all the best.

I can always take your mind off it by taking you for a blast round the lanes, without brakes Shocked .

Pete you are extremely brave to admit this and in such a public way ... here's wishing you well in your recovery and get your arse to professional help i.e AA or NA my Brother is an addiction councilor, i been through the works with him (he was a drug addict for 20 odd years) you will need help and support from like minded people, there is support for you family out there too, i attended families annon this is the support group for members of a family that has an addict.

Good Luck to you all 2 Thumbs up

Total respect for you Slappy, you have a lot of good friends here (and me Wink Laughing ) and any "friend" you lose over your admission is not a true friend.

Good on yer Pete ... just think of all the £££££'s you'll be saving, maybe no beer = new bike ??

Neither Dave nor I drink (the main reason is neither of us likes the taste and the effect very much) ... we can both say that it's deffo possible to have a good time without a drink.

All the best m8.

admitting something is the first step in courage, well done you and of course you are not going to loose loads of friends, the true friends will stick around and those that dont, well they were not true friends in the first place.
