Had a similar experience 7 yrs ago. Does tend to make you more aware in the 30mph limits though. _________________ If you judge people, you have no time to love them. |

Same happened to me April last year... over took a doddering weaving granny in a micra who was doing 20mph on Old Shoreham road and was radared at 44 in a 30 ... If we got points everytime none of us would be on the road... so law of averages means eventually you will get caught out _________________

yeah you are quite right .. Gupps keeps telling me to slow down in the 30's, he says i have no respect for the speed limits, i do, i just don't realise i am going the speed i am.. i will have to be a bit more respectful in the future. _________________

Today was a blitz day - mobile vans and cops on the 272 and other places.
I spotted at least two battenburgs, one bike, one mobile van, and a suspected "stealth car".
Thoughtful bikers made it easy to avoid today (thanks), but tbh I didn't need f*ng notifying.. how hard is it to stick to 30s and 40s when you can make an educated guess as to where they're waiting to get you? _________________ If the phone doesn’t ring, it’s me... |

Seeing a policeman at I think Salfords A217 just outside Reigate doing a one man speedtrap at the 30mph section that is not clearly marked (where the Goat used to be tied up beside the road). Why aren't these sections clearly marked with the limit before they set up these traps, as is the case near to where I live ? _________________ It's all down to quality of life !

FYI, that only applies to your first licence, since Roughie has held a car licence for more than 2 years this does not apply
