Hubby rang me at work today..
" That bl--dy rabbit has got to go I'm tellin ya by Friday or I'm neckin it"
why I said ?he replied " the bl--dy things just turned its back on me and pi--ed in my face" how could I not laugh???
Daughter has 3 rabbits 2 are cuties the other is the rabbit from hell, bites...bit my hand last week right mess (and I feed it) and bit my hubbys arm the week previous....now they are well looked after stroke them, talk to them...as you do with any animal or even fish, let the rabbits out for a run so they have lots of TLC.
Today my hubby was checking on them and having his usual 'chat' with them just before he left the house to go for a hospital visit....he was face up to the rabbit from hell's cage and (as above) it aint funny is it

When my bothers and i lived at home, we were served rabbit one day,but Mum told us it was CHICKEN.It wasnt until a couple of years ago she confessed......well actually it slipped out........that it was Rabbit.I was just wondering what else she's fed us and not told us.
I can laugh about it now

Got loads of rabbit recipes. "The Poachers Cook Book". Loads of recipes all a variation on a them most of them.
Goes well with a woody or leaving in red wine for a day or so before cooking. The acids in the wine make it really tender.
Got about 20 rabbits at the mo, all in the freezer. Looking for someone who can tan the skins as I end up with a big pile after a nights rabbiting. Seems a shame to let them all go to waste! |

My son had a couple of rabbits that are now round a mates house, they are called Bubble and Squeek. I affectionately labelled them pie and stew. _________________ Its better to regret something you did rather than something you didnt do... |

My father-in-law used to breed rabbits for the table, when the kids asked where the rabbits had gone, it was always to a good home! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |
