Fired up the 996 this afternoon, after not being run for four weeks. It was very quiet and when I revved it, it stalled, then wouldn't start. I thought, oh oh, expensive repair. I always run it every two weeks, as it helps the timing belts(which I must change soon) according to Ducati  , but I left it for four weeks this time. Then I noticed twatty had left the caps fitted on the exhaust cans ! Had to smile then.....

All the TPS does is tell the FI or CDI what position the throttle is in so they can get the timing and fueling correct etc..
You would only really notice anything better if your old one was not working properly. |
