The fact that you were double flashed does not equate out to you receiving a ticket, just keep your fingers crossed that it didn't have a film in.

Oil leak from the clutch cover means i have to replace the gasket
experience from the front sprocket cover says at least one will snap which when it comes to the sprocket cover is no big shakes but when it comes to sealing a gasket ............................need i say more? Confused

go for it pete if you snap a bolt you can have it ready for when for when the new one's arrive warm the engine 1st
