My own inability to ride a bike properly at night. First time on the bike to work in 'bout three months, new tyres and daylight = slow sensible riding. Tyres with 50 odd miles on them and night-time = riding like a pre-CBT novice with his eyes shut.
Advanced training and more time on the bike methinks _________________ http://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/1/order-newsletter/ |

I hate riding at night!
A-roads scare the hell out of me 'cos I can't see the bends and curves, so I ride soooooooo slow!!!!
Even unlit motorways.... Don't like riding in the outside lane 'cos I'm terribly distracted by the lights (lamps/bulbs ) of the on-coming traffic
..Generally, if its Dark ( ) I transfix onto the person in front's rear lights and pray they don't do anything stupid!! |

One of my team managers well and truly fecked up his monthly stats at 4.30 this afternoon. Not only that but he also managed to be at another office when the problem was found, had to stay till 6.30 trying correct the problem |

I couldn't buy the helmet I wanted today as my glasses wouldn't fit inside properly, and my wife moaned about me buying our son biking kit as he wants to get a bike and I don't like the idea of him riding in Hoody, jeans and trainers ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

Long story try to make it short...... moved to new area 2 1/2 yrs ago so new school for keri. One group of girls have made her life hell inside school sonce day one. School dont - cant deal with it. Snow day yesterday she was out with her boyfriend and 4 of the girls attact her and her boyfriend.
Slight cut lip sore head and a few bumps very shook up but shes ok. Boyfriend did wat he could to get the girls off her till he was kicked in the privates.
Had to collect keri from her boyfriends and on the way i bumped into the girls that jumped her as i know them from working in the school. The denied all which i expected. Spoke to one of the mothers and told her in future i will be calling the police as i have now had enough and this is no longer bullying but physical abuse.
Problem around here its exstended familys and they all go for all out war over anything.
Keri is fine and attending school today with her head held high. |

My heating's STILL not working. Gas board renewed the pipework last week, boiler decided not to work 2 days later. Boiler fixer man came yesterday and says I need a new valve - about £100!!! - and it's broken probably because of crap that got into the pipes when they were replacing them outside.
REALLY cold in the house and now just want to get some compensation from the gas board as the valve wouldn't have got blocked if they hadn't put crap in the pipe. |

I hate reading stuff like this. Get the cops involved next time Jen, life's too short and it's not fair on Keri to have to put up with it. Good for her rising above the whole situation. _________________ Mini Cooper S |
