Had to chuckle today
coming back from stevenage was following a zx750 along the essex stretch of the M25 when his bike began backfiring ......for a second i thought he was playing with the kill switch but then he pulled off to the hard shoulder.
decided to be the dutiful biker and pulled over to see if all was ok.
turned out the bike had died on him and he had no electrics what so ever.
suspected a blown fuse or something similar
Out came my tools and removed the saddle's to find the ground connection had come off the battery and a quick tickle with the socket set had it fixed in no time.
needless to say he was delighted Claiming he knew nothing about the bike he just rode the F*ckin thing
anyhow chatting away i mentioned the site and he stated he had been to box once before and cracked a wheelie before pulling into the car park where a woman stated "thats clever"
he replied "well i thought so"
she promptly produced her police badge i had to laugh
then asked where he was heading ...and to my surprise ....WALDERSLADE
whats the chances of that ?
so worst case scenario was if we couldnt have gotten him on the move was sling the bike in the back of the van and drop him off on the way through |
