 I am staggered i thought it would be touch and go but that is serious repair bill

Different situation i know, but some pizza guy drove into my car whilst it was parked on the side of the road a while back (he was in a car too) i got his registration but he refused to give any further details and left the scene. I reported it to the police and even found out which pizza take-away shop he was working at and they still did feck all *shrugs* 
I just want to ad a caveat, which is that i dont usually like police bashing. the police do a really difficult and in most cases thankless job, for the best part they do get results and i think we all would feel a lot less safe if they weren't there. However, it is bloody frustrating when they dont react to these sorts of crimes which is probably why people aren't too worried about committing the offence n the first place.

Complain to local MP, write to newspapers, make a big fuss and threaten vigilantism/gang law. That'll make the feckers sit up straight.
Ok, more seriously...the police say that you shouldn't take the law into your own hands, but if they won't do anything, then whose hands should it be in? If the police won't arrest known culprits, they've just given the go ahead for people to commit crime. So people either protect themselves or have no protection at all.
P.S. Don't threaten vigilantism/gang law from yourself, just state that the police are inviting it to happen...people in general will resort to it..blah de fkn blah. |
