Sorry to hear this Marc. I know I'd be gutted if that happened to my car and it's nowhere as lovely as yours.

Audi TT's had 2 incidents with them today, both silver, both driven by absolute wankers.
1st one... A23 Coulsdon doesn't check mirrors before changing lanes on Dual carriageway, I could see it happening, so was already on the ball, if I hadn't been I'd be picking armco out of my teeth right now. Anyway gave him a friendly wave -->>
2nd one... I pull up outside the a park, take bess for a run
The view is partially obscured for me pulling out as I am on the right hand side of the road. So I reverse in order to get a clearer view, left indicator on and I slowly move out. Silver Audi TT comes flying along (this is outside a school at 9am ffs) so I pull into side turning opposite as she clearly aint slowing or stopping, then she stomps on the brakes and the fella behind rear ends her, then they both try and blame me... tosspots
Was in the car for both. _________________

In my new cage this morning, (not brand new but still very shiny - well it's a bit grubby after I've been driving it for three weeks but you get the idea - ahem, get back on track, stupid!) Got hit in the windscreen by a flying stone. Big chip in the windscreen. Can't imagine what would have happened if I'd been on the bike, that was a BIG stone and hit with a heck of a thump.
Fortunately didn't need to get screen replaced, the insurance covers chip repairs for free so didn't lose £60 excess on my policy. |
