We changed over from BT to Sky a couple of weeks ago. Had probs to start off with but all last week it was brilliant.
But ALL weekend it wouldn't do anything. Sometimes it would connect only to drop out again. And, of course, there's nothing to help you solve it. It's all connected okay etc etc, nothing had changed but I couldn't get on anything.
Resorted to using dial-up in my laptop.
Robert's having a look at it today, which will be interesting as I'm more technical than he is . Still it was his decision to swap. |
Never had that problem, did you try resetting the box?
Cost of getting another car key cut think i'll be very careful with the one iv got! _________________ Happiness is a friction burn on your knee

Labyrinthitis is a swelling, usually caused by a viral infection, of the labyrinth, or the middle ear - the bit that deals with balance.
It can be pretty quick to clear up, a matter of days, or it can take ages. It can happen just once and then never be seen again, or it can be a recurring problem.
I had it twice ever, once as a child and once about 20 years ago, but never since. It lasted just a couple of days each time. But I know someone who gets it fairly often and it lasts for weeks for her.
Hope yours is like mine was, cos it's horrible, and you feel sick just moving your eyes. Yuck. |

So i had the incentive of, if you stay we will transfer the remanider minus an admin fee, , to a new policy. Well this worked out cheaper than taking out a policy with a new company, so that is what i did!
I received the documents today and checking through them it is for TPFT ffs, i never mentioned TPFT i always have Fully comp and i remember discussing it with him, TPFT was never ever mentioned FFS!
Here we go again! The annoying thing is that they have always been really efficient and in the big scheme of things it is a minor glitch, but does everyone read through their paperwork? Glad i do!!! I now have to wait until Monday as the department that deals with this is not in at the weekends |
Good to see one of the most organised and fastidious peeps I know get dumped on once in a while | Bit late but

Anyway, I hate to say it but Robert's got it working Doesn't know how he did it though. Thinks it was just a problem with Sky. _________________ We are all born mad. Some remain so. ~ Samuel Beckett 1906-1989 |

Ouch... hope you GWS.
Have you considered further training? Just pulling your leg mate, ice is a total bastard, but be warned, compacted grit can be just as bad. _________________

Well they say everything is a lesson - today my lesson was "Don't rely on the councils to grit the roads when its icy" - Now where's my painkillers again _________________ Opinions are like assholes...... Ahhh Fcuk it - YOUR WRONG !!!
