A mixed one really, had a great ride out on my bike today, but i got a stone caught between my leg and tank (whilst following Penfold) which has scratched it a bit, felt it quickly enough, thankfully. . No big deal when looking at Tango's thread. None the less though it still pissed me off! Polish has got most of the worst out, but i can see it, hey ho!!!! _________________ Speed Limits are Minimums and remember Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one

Thick uneducated morons |
This made me laugh when i was PM VA va about Jade:
You would have thought that, in this day and age, we'd have developed some means of screening that didn't require a woman to drop her kegs and spread her legs ...only to then be told to 'relax' by some monster wielding what looks like a medieval instrument of torture Rolling Eyes Mad
My heart really goes out to Jade, she really is brave. _________________ Happiness is a friction burn on your knee

Met police refusing to do anything about James stalking Tania. Seems they're not interested at the moment, told her to go talk to CAB.
Bet they'd be interested if he were to actually attack her, which from how he's been behaving, isn't unlikely. Speaking to them myself now to try and stress the urgency of the situation a little more, but until it becomes an assault or whatnot, they've probably got more important things to deal with than harrassment.
Just want em to give him a phone call and a letter, as they did with me, to tell him to stay away.
P.S. Matt, Martin...not a pop at the police, just my frustration with the situation. _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience. The objective is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.

Just spoken to Met police again. Now even more wound up, but looks like it'll get somewhere as soon as Tania makes a statement. When she originally filed for harrassment the officers she was speaking to told her that as it was the first incident they couldn't take it anywhere (prosecution wise) but would just put it on the system. They also put on the system that she didn't wish to make a statement, which was untrue. She was advised by them that it couldn't go anywhere so not to make a statement until a later date when there was another incident. Because of that little footnote they put in saying she didn't wish to make a statement, they haven't progressed it. <explitive deleted>
At least now I've set the record straight with them and they'll act on it. She's going down the station tonight to make a statement, as soon as she does they'll issue him a warning. _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience. Banks.. in general...
In order to set up my student account with natwest at this time of year i need to allow them to transfer my main bank account from my other bank to them so they can merge it into the student account. This then messes up everything that is set up with my current bank account.. i.e. post dated cheques i gave to my uni for my accomodation, paypal.. etc etc..

Smells like....bullshit!! (not you, what the bank is saying).
Can't you set up a student account with the bank you're currently with? To me just sounds like NatWest are trying to get their hands on your funds and control who you're banking with, which is bollocks imho. _________________ You start the game of life with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience. See the problem is.. natwest do a much better account otherwise i would do so...
Its not that they need to do what they're doing more its their way of doing it outside of the 'student period' as they put it.. its all pretty annoying but I want they're deal so i guess they have me by the danglies |

Sure enough... Went to the Police station... at midnight... after a long day of rehearsals and two shows at the National... I was told to call tomorrow and make an appointment with the officer in charge of the case. They COULDN'T take a statement from me. It was a long and complicated procedure... I was the ONLY person at the police station.... Kilburn Police Station feels like my local these days - I seem to visit them more often then Sainsbury's to get my organic semi-skimmed... _________________ There's a solution to any situation. BS and Tania, firstly no offence taken!!!!!!!!
With harrassment there has to be a code of conduct for the offence to be complete. It has to happen on more than one occasion. Although two occasions is enough the CPS generally like three occasions before they would consider charging someone, but not always. Harrassment is basically a anti-stalking law. To be a stalker you have to do something more than just once.
What they did was make a crime report and that is number one, you would have been given a CRIS (crime number) with that report. What would happen then is not'a'lot until you report another, completely seperate incident. Then you have a 'course of conduct' and the offence can be looked at.
Marking on the report that she was unwilling was cnutish on the part of the PC or civvy station officer taking her initial allegation.
It is the norm for the officer in the case, the person who that crime has been allocated to, to take all statements in relation to the crime that he/she is investigating. Taking stataments is not something that is done in a front office of a nick, arrangement are made with the victim/witness and the OIC (officer in case) at a mutually convenient time.
The front office will take allegations and create crime reports based on that allegation, but in depth, detailed stataments will not be taken there, it's the OIC's job.
I hope this helps explain things a little, stick with it. |
