I'm going to have to down size my home cinema system I spent thousands setting it up then had to move from a house to a flat when I got divorced and now its just far to big for my living room.

B&W 602's and CC6 Centre, 602's come with 72 strand Bi wires. Pair of KeF rears can't remember the exact model, and a 200w Mordant Short active sub, everything connected with gold connectors and high quality cable.
There may be a change in plans, as I may have found a way around placement, I'll know more by the end of the weekend when I've finished decorating and moving stuff around.
If they have to go (which I really don't want to do) then I'll post an add up. _________________ Anything you say may be taken down and used as evidence in a court of law, or boxhill forum!!

And now the company that i just left want me to pay them £91 in the next 30 days or i face legal action.
For 'paid holidays in excess of entitlement while in our employment'
Holidays i never actually took. FFS
Right now what with the bike test and the new bike and the fact i have no new work, it isnt exactly good timing. |

Big Tip ......
Ignore them.
1) If memory serves correctly, they never let you work your notice so you would be able to counter claim on lost earnings and lost holiday entitlement as they will have broken the employment contract not you. You could argue that by preventing you from working your notice you were denied the opportunity to earn wages for that period and were denied the opportunity of working up the holiday entitlement that would have covered the period they are claiming for (provided you didn't ask not to work your notice).
2) Speaking as a Credit Control Manager - £91 isn't an economic amount to involve the court system - it would cost them as much to recover the £91 (if not more) in non-recoverable fees such as staff wages, postage and admin costs involve the court system. They would then be legally bound to the repayment terms that the court would impose and as a student - you could easily request the court allow you to repay at a rate of £1 a month. Its more likely that it would be passed to a Debt recovery company who will make minimum requests for payment for the same reasons.
3) it is extremely rare that any organization (other than financial ones such as Credit Card Companies, finance houses or banks) will record anything on your credit history as they have to pay for access to Experian etc and that ain't cheap.)
Just make sure you don't need a reference from them as this is one of the very few instances where employers can withold references as they would claim that there is an ongoing employment dispute which would effect the content of the reference.
Hope this makes ya feel a little better _________________ Opinions are like assholes...... Ahhh Fcuk it - YOUR WRONG !!!

Well it needs to be argued because its wrong anyway. But i have no intention of paying it. I dont have it for starters.
The only reason i left in the first place was because of the manager being unfair to me specifically and changing agreements i had made with him. |

My son was meant to collect his new bike today at 2pm, but the salesman phoned at 12pm to say they haven't got the restrictor kit yet, but he could collect the bike. I wanted to go over there and have words, but I was told not to. They said they should have it on tuesday, but we'll make them wait til saturday so we don't have to take time off work ! _________________ It's all down to quality of life ! |

CB, I don't know all the ins and outs of your reasons for leaving but have you spoken to ACAS? It is possible that you might have a claim for constructive dismissal, but as I say I don't know what went on so a phonecall to ACAS might be worth a go. |
