In truth, none of our bikes were shining after more than a week being ragged around the south of France - let's just call it poetic licence, OK? Laughing

Transport problems and my own utter numptiness.

Got on the bike to go to work this morning (lovely day, you just gotta, sometimes.) Started, then stopped. And wouldn't start again. Reckon there might be a battery problem. So got off again, locked it, changed out of the leathers and got in the car. Now I was going to be late. Went to the garage and filled up with petrol. Bum. It's a diesel car. Waited 2 hours or more for the AA blokey to turn up, and then a good deal more time for him to pump it out. Paid £35 for petrol that immediately went down the pan, plus £194 for the tank to be drained.

FAR too cross to do anything productive, and feeling like a total doughnut.

And I hate my job so I'm just not going to bother going in now, seeing as most of the day is over.

And the alternative job I was after has been offered to someone else, so that's two more where I didn't even get an interview. And it's really difficult to find any others.

AND B R E A T H E . . . . .

At least I noticed the fuel fuck-up before driving off, so I didn't damage the engine, and now I've probably got a nice clean fuel pump.

At least I HAVE a job, even if I hate it.

Oh sod it, I'm still grumpy, despite the "at least"s. Very Happy

Absolutely nothing today Very Happy

My last day at work for 3 weeks, which will be the longest time I've had off since I left school.

I get married on Saturday and then off to Kenya on Monday.

I can actually say life doesn't get any better Very Happy

Unfortunately she didn't get his registration number. If anyone was in Dorking around 9.45 this morning and saw this happen and got a reg number/description let me know. ta.

If there's one thing I can't abide, it's bullys.

Spending literally the last 3 hours trying to figure out a sodding coding problem and finding out its a 'feature'. Arrrghh!

I knew there was a bloody good reason I don't do code anymore.

What part of "ARENT NEW, COULD DO WITH A POLISH" justifies selling something with a dent in - all the kings horses and all the kings men aren't going to polish a dent out.

Is it against eBay rules to use the word "wanker" in someones feedback?

True enough, just pissed off that having waited for a week for the lazy tosser to get off his arse and post the f*cking thing that it arrives damaged (was existing damage on the item). If the description was accurate then I would have a. not bought it, or b. had the choice as to whether to buy or not. end of rant Laughing
