A kick in the nuts

My turn to take Mater out for luncheon.

Missed being out on't bike today, what with the sunshine n all.

But take note - the A25 from Newlands to Dorking is riddled with potholes, some of them up to 5 or 6 inches deep. The village of Westcott is by far the worst. Please take care.

THIS HAS BEEN A PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT

But -

"Sadly in the UK, despite our scientific expertise, umbilical cord blood is still very much an untapped resource and we are only able to collect and store a tiny amount of the cords we need.

"We really need a properly resourced UK cord blood collection programme.

"Further investment is crucial if we are to capitalise on this amazing resource and save more lives."

and it seems only for Leukaemia so as good as this is it's a tiny step forward, a good one granted but not a one item fixes all breakthrough!

I'm glad it's ok where you are Andi, most of the roads I've experienced are terrible. Sad
