As biggus said, they don't have to offer the course.
Also I thought it was only offered if you are only a few mph over the limit, so in your case it wouldn't be?
Was it a fixed camera or a speedgun?
If it was a speedgun and you were not stopped then you should be safe.... |
It was a speed gun .... i was surprised to see it where it was, as there is nowhere to stop anybody there usually a bit further down there is a camera van. |
They often 'practise' along there. I would guess if you didn't get 'tugged' you should be okay. |

Of course not that anyone working in a garage has ever stood roadside holding a timing light in a menacing fashion whilst wearing a reflective jacket _________________

My boy having terrible nightmares. 01.30 and he was screaming the house down . I thought he must have fallen out of bed and knocked his busted arm but no. He was so scared that Sarah had to spend the night in his room. Never had to do this before ever. Guess its the painkillers or the pain _________________

Co-codamol I believe . I had something similar when I busted my hip on Mouses run. Mine was the angel above the bed. Not scary but weird for sure. That was on Co-codamol too. _________________

My solution to it was Marijuana and Jack Daniels... probably not a combination you want to encourage for your lad though . Might be worth asking the quack if there's some kind of sleeping tablet he can take with the pain killers as well?? _________________

Andi - I was prescribed cocodamol after my bike accident. It numbs pain, yes, but they dont' tell you what else it does! I had awful side effects including halicinations where dark shapes would appear on the wall and then remove themselves and start coming towards me. Pretty freaky. I came off them straight away. _________________ Mini Cooper S |

I took some of that for a while, a couple of years ago - no nightmares but had DREADFUL constipation. Yes, I know lots of people may think I'm full of shit, but right then I really was! |

if its stuff thats been prescribed, try getting some over the counter co-codamol if pain isnt as bad. They have less codeine then the jungle juice strength stuff that doctors hand out, personaly i found they had less side-effects _________________ Its all Google maps fault!

Tramadol - good stuff. It is what I take for my back. Also given to a mate who had a serious off with many broken bones. Co-codamol has a very limited effect on me (I believe it is only paracetamol and codeine). But then |

Yep had that myself though I was on co-dydramol. It is the codeine I believe that causes the constipation |
