Yeah but I just can't put Paula and haddock in the same sentance , there's nothing remotely haddocky about her. More of a little dolphin maybe (see I'm going for the less painful punch option ) _________________ It's not the speed of life that bothers me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Received my yearly gas & electricity payment reviews - yes, I have posted in the correct forum topic! Not only are EDF reducing my payments by £28/mo, I'm getting a refund of £155.91!!
More of that, please!!! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |

WMMST:
Hugs and laughter from friends new & old plus a nice long ride on my beloved CBR - doesn't get much better than that!
WMM LOL:
Caught myself thinking rather uncharitable thoughts about a woman in Sainsbury's tonight, dressed in purple leggings & matching skin-tight purple dress (the words mutton & lamb spring to mind), then realised I ought to pull the proverbial log from my own eye as I was:
- Wearing a lovely layer of road grime across my face which I hadn't had a chance to wash off in my haste to get to Wildlife Aid in time for my weekly volunteer shift
- Trying (unsuccessfully) to hide my unwashed helmet hair under my Focused Events baseball cap
- Still wearing my thermal bike shirt, fashionably paired with an old fleece jumper & a scruffy pair of jeans, both spattered with deer's blood(don't ask!), mud & other unsavoury things too disgusting to mention
Good thing it's inner beauty that counts! _________________ "Take advantage of her being in a wheelchair while you can, mate - 'cos that's the only time you'll be able to push her around!" -Barry H |
