Well i resolved the issue. Now just fairings to go back on and it's good to go. When i filled it with oil this morning, oil spewed from the rear of the gearbox and the bolts on the back cover that contain the selector return springs were loose... So i tightened them up. Seems someone (not me!) had taken the cover off and misaligned part of the mechanism so a knuckle scraping spanner session sorted that... Along with the genius plan of hoisting the back of the bike in the air so as not to waste the fresh oil... Sorted Cool thanks to andjel for the moral support and being on hand to drop spanners on my head while i was lying under the bike Laughing

Definitely fingers crossed.

Same goes for one of my mates who works in the same office as me, we do similar jobs which means if one or the other is made redundant then me or her would have to take on each others work in addition to what we already do.

good news for now though, given the other possibility today's news could have been Sad

I went through this once too before the final chop Sad used the 3 months to hoard as much cash as I could.

If you do that and it's all good in 3 months then you'll have a nice pot of cash to play with Very Happy
