well 9 hrs to .....strip the front end entirely check new bearings ...all ok ...strip and repaint the head/ indicator mounts .....drain forks and refill with new fork oil (hmmmm.. 400ml out but according to the book 644ml required so refill to spec) wiring removed from headlight housing and hidden above the engine re routed back to the headlight housing ...all additional cabling added by previous owner removed ...loom re taped and snake skin added for extra protection and asthetics then re-assemble bit by bit .....test run into town to collect Jen from work and check out the change of direction handling ....All good .....drop jen at home then popped out to the test track where i was able to take her up to an indicated 155mph ....where she remained firmly planted even when cranked over on the left hander.
bike is so much more stable ...not 100% sure why she is behaving now but im sure glad she is .....Oooooh Yeeeeaah dats what im talkin about Cool

maybe but why would a bike behave before changing the stock bearings then develop a weave after ...both forks were more or less equally short of oil so i expect thats the answer to previous poor suspension but it didnt weave ...its one of them puzzlers im afraid ....but hey ho its sorted now an im grinning Very Happy
