Pity i can't make this ride as i'll be at Guilfest, but hope to make the next one. Have a great time y'all, and stay safe ! |
Yup..... there's gonna be a conga
Weather is looking like it might become a little more so it should be good on the rideout and Guilfest _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

Where ya heading for lunch? It would be good to catch up with people but I don't fancy a conga as been off bike for a month now and I've got some serious thrashing I need to get out of my system
Better I get that out of my system and then meat up with you guy's _________________ Anything you say may be taken down and used as evidence in a court of law, or boxhill forum!!

Thought I would just let it tip into Saturday
OK enough teasing.......... I will give you two choices and the first one to ten gets the my consideration but I will still choose witch one I want anyway
Choice (1)
How about swimming / paddling at Botany Bay and lunch at Captain Digby's at Kingsgate?
These are pics from last year, those wanting breakfast would need to meet at the Grasshopper Inn (TN16 2EU) for 8:00 am ready to leave for 8:15am......
We will ride for about 15mins and be stopping north of Sevenoaks for a coffee / breakfast / waffles at the 7 Hotel and Diner <--- Link
Those wanting a later start can go straight to the 7 Hotel and Diner (Postcode TN14 7AA) for 9:15am. We will be leaving the Diner at 9:30am sharp !!!
Cartain Digby's at Kingsgate gets busy, so I would ideally want to get there for 12:30pm....... 160 mile round trip from the Grasshopper.
In case we get separated, here is the Route to Botany Bay from Grasshopper Inn via 7 Hotel and Diner The return trip will be as the mood takes me !!!
P.S.............. Don't forget your swimming trunk / mankini / bikini
Option 2 (Short and sweet)
Meet at the Grasshopper Inn at 9:45 am leaving at 10:00am. That still gives me time to go to the Diner first !!!
A selection of B Road twisties ending up at a Sussex Pub with a stream.
150 miles ending at Box around 4:00pm _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

I love the idea of either choice but I think the thought of people seeing me in a pair of trunks would be classed as a cruel and unusual punishment under article 4 of the Geneva convention so option 2 is my preference.
I can always bring a book to read if the beach is the winning option _________________ Opinions are like assholes...... Ahhh Fcuk it - YOUR WRONG !!!

Thats me out then.
If it's option 2 would be ok but if i leave here at half 7 and get to grasshopper at 9:45 hoping for option 2 to find option 1 has been chosen there will be nobody there and not planning on a 200 mile rideout to margate on my own _________________ Thinking about it, i may be some time |

I vote for option 2, option 1 looks good but a) I'd have to get up early with no beers saturday night and b) people like Marmalade couldn't join in if it's not option 2. _________________ Working on getting pic of me on my 675....it's fixed, so new shiny repaired bike pics coming soon... |

Well spotted..... I was wondering when someone would notice that
Looking at an option B of early morning waffles for those that want it at the 7 Hotel and Diner, heading South West with pick ups at the Grasshopper 10:00am and Pease Pottage services (Petrol Station) 11:00am _________________ Boxhill Chippendales
