Not a great lover of adders, but I once walked into a small clearing where adders were soaking up the rays of the sun, just stood still & they pissed off. Been told though that it's about the same as a bee sting if you get bitten.

His hand got bitten, which says it all

Had a fabulous day at work and also managed to visit a guy from WMMCC who is in our hospital following a recent stroke and to see him sitting out of bed and hear him carry out a rational converstion.

Day was topped off by giving a presentation of one of my projects (enhanced recovery for colorectal patients) to our local Patient in Partnership group and all they could do was say how brill the project is ...can't go to sleep yet ...still grinning.

Very Happy

Blimey Fred, you may have realised you're homosexual but there is no need to lower your standards or expectations!

Heard hogan barking in the garden, few seconds later came trotting indoors wagging his tail and was quite excited. He then went into the garden again, so he was followed to see why he was so excited. He had a new friend, a chihuahua ! He had escaped from a house two doors down and walked through the bars of our side gate to say hello to hogan. Turns out he is a rescue dog that needs re-homing (seven years old) & he is staying two doors down to be assessed for a couple of days. Very Happy
