I said that it was shit, that is as good as a thank you.
I do plan to write a bit more when I put up the photos... Probably something along the lines of:

BT. They were prepared to give me a new number for the new house, but could not guarantee that it would be the number they actually connect on the day Apparently it no longer matters if one wants to send out change of address cards prior to moving in. |

Yep that didn't matter 10 years ago when I last moved apparently...
With numbers being more "portable" these days and redirection and the like the previous owners of that number might be wanting to have it forwarded elsewhere or a message put on it. _________________

My flat in walton was burgled today in the middle of the day...broad feckin daylight. The thing is, they forced the front door, which is inside a block of flats with a security door, to which only residents have access...
Now, the skank-whore in the flat above me has a history of prison, shoplifting, heroin, cannabis, dealing, and a whole string of other things. The burglar must have known that Mel was working, and that I was away from home with the dog, and that nobody else was home, and also have access to the block...seems like a prime suspect already dontcha think? You don't break into a secure block of flats in broad daylight on the off-chance it might be empty.....
Anyway, the police came round with their Fisher-Price "My first fingerprint kit", and, get this, could not lift ANY prints from ANY surface in the ENTIRE house...not even mine or Mel's...WTF!?!?!?!?
Mel told the police our suspicions about the burglar being someone in the block who was watching the house, and they didn't even do any door-to-door enquiries. They just said, "Sorry, we can't get any prints, and there isn't any evidence!"
I only hope the police have some master plan up their sleeves, if not I'm gonna escalate this to an official complaint. I've been telling the police and the council about this scumbag for 5 years, even presented them with evidence of heroin use....not a f*ckin' thing has been done about it
On the plus side, it means I may be back up in Surrey this weekend to change locks and so on, so may be able to get on a rideout! |

Sorry to her this mate. I know that having your home burgled can be very traumatic (having a stranger in your house and all that) BASTARDS THE LOT OF THEM
Is Mel ok? Hope she is.
Had a similar problem myself for a few years - Knowing exactly who was doing it but no evidence. Don't blame the Police m8. You'll find their hands are tied a lot of the time and thats its every bit as frustrating for them to know and not be able to do anything. Personally, I hold the CPS responsible... Even when all the evidence is there - they have been known to say its not worth trying to prosecute. _________________ Opinions are like assholes...... Ahhh Fcuk it - YOUR WRONG !!!

Yep, I suppose it's not the police's fault per se, but the whole lacklustre attitude is really aggravating when dealing with something so upsetting. It's like being treated like a statistic before any investigation has even taken place. |

And if they did it would be a slap on wrist for the mental and actual damage caused but speeding at 160mph although maybe a bit on the stupid side shouldn't warrant 9 months in prison

Well, i know i shouldn't but you seem like a decent bunch from those i've met so i'm going to pour and hope the piss taking is minimal.
Me and other half are so far apart in reality stakes i can't even see what planet she is on with a telescope.
Business is quieter than ever (almost non existent) meaning no cash.
Have a foam party to do Friday meaning i need a van but barely have the cash for the fuel let alone a £300 deposit
Fking pan euro bargain turns out to be shit, had it 2 weeks, done 4300 miles and it now jumps out of second and the diff has just started making crunching noises so the zzr i was going to sell to get some pennies in has now got to be used as backup bike again for any work that might happen.
Couldn't even think of throwing it back stating not fit for purpose as i've sold all the police lights etc off of it.
Plus the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off to save money.
I know things could be a whole lot worse but this shit is really getting to me _________________ Thinking about it, i may be some time |

The 3" graze on my left cheek because A tw@t at kickboxing didn't do his gloves up properly and I got his velcro strap dragged across my face..... The same ass who punched me the throat because he went in windmill punching not looking what he was doing ... And then when I recover enough to get him back I pull my left calf muscle while doing a hook kick double hi/lo round house on him ..... the Cnut ..... He is gonna get it next week.... :'( _________________ If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions.
