Self certified for the moment. It's just a muscle strain, saw GP yesterday and been prescribed Co-Codamol, told to do gentle stretches and use heat packs. It already feels a lot better, I'm just being cautious and want to be absolutely sure it's better before I return to lifting lumpies!!

I would really rather be at work. There is an unbelievable amount of paperwork when you injure yourself at work...and you're only allowed a certain amount of time off sick before they put you on the 'naughty register'!!

Sad

Laughing

I was actually torn between where to put it!!!!!!!!! It should actually make me smile because the more delayed it is, the more of a lie-in I get tomorrow before driving to the airport.

It's already scheduled 32 minutes late, doesn't sound much but it doesn't leave for another 10 hours, so god knows what the delay time is going to be by the time it's due to go!!!!

Ok so two weeks ago I went to BMW to try to get a replacement Topbox as mine is cracked because the rubber is missing from the feet that slot into the rack, through normal use, (under warranty).
Spoke to a certain knobhead who very arrogantly made it clear that he wasnt prepared to help in the slightest to resolve the problem.
It was clear what the problem was, all that was required was to exchange it for one the few that they had in stock. The twat made all sorts of excuses and had no customer service skills whatsoever. He even asked if I had a receipt, FFS it's all logged on their system under my bike reg and he sold it to me and coded the lock. Fuck I wanted to punch him!!!
Couldn't go back last weekend due to a hangover.
Just been there this morning and spoke to the people on service, showed them the problem...within 30 seconds she said what we'll have to do is exchange it. Well that was easy! Very Happy
Sure enough they have sold all the stock they had 2 weeks ago so I now have to go back next saturday!!
So instead of an immediate exchange and one journey I now have to do 3 journeys spread over 3 weeks to get a warranty exchange...all because of the arrogance of an argumentative jumped up fucking cock. How the feck he has a customer facing role is beyond me, go and work in Mcdonalds you fecking dick coz you are shit!!!!! Evil or Very Mad
Everyone else who works there is so nice to deal with Very Happy

Well this is the abrupt end to my day surfing...

6 hours in A&E, whiplash, a spine so swollen it feels like I have a rugby ball stuffed down the back of my jeans, and a shattered knuckle which will probably need reconstructive surgery to get movement back again. My brother got a cracked eye socket and a suspected broken nose, along with cuts and bruises to his face. My stomach feels like I've been cut in half from where the seatbelt dug in.

Why? Well some fcuking tw*t in his totally unnecessary 4WD ploughed into the back of us at 50MPH while we were waiting to turn right into a side road. He didn't even brake...This pushed our car into the oncoming traffic, and we then had another collision a second later, this time head-on, at 50MPH.

Really fucked off at people's inability to pay attention while driving. I'm only just coming to the end of a month off sick with my hands, just to have another 4-6 weeks of recovery...FFS! I'd even accepted a full-time job offer which was due to start next week.

I must be thankful that we are alive, and that nobody else got hurt badly.

I really want to take this prick to the cleaners...start recommending solicitors Evil or Very Mad He's gonna regret the day he ever bought his overprivileged chelsea tractor cock-mobile!

Bloody hell mate! Hope your injuries aren't as bad a they seem. Having been f*cked up by an arsehole who couldn't be bothered to look, I truly hope that you recover quickly and without too much treatment. My thoughts are with you.
You've been through enough shit without this.
