We made £120 at a boot fair we did this morning. Funniest moment of the day was when an Eastern European man haggled with me over the price of a pair of jeans. I said they were £1 and he grabbed them, shoved a pound coin in my hand and legged it. This was before I had time to explain to him that they were maternity jeans!!! _________________ Mini Cooper S |

I wasnt sure at first but was battery related. Tried to trickle it and optimser said it was full but would start so thought it something a bit more serious than a battery. More days wasted after I tried a second optimiser. Keep bike in a shelter outside so need time at home and fair weather to get it on.Couldnt get it to a dealer as when i jumped it it wouldnt stay running,or find time at home to meet someone to get it picked up so dragged on for far too long. Yesterday went to pick up a battery from p and h. When i looked before it looked like i needed to take most of the bike to bits to replace the battery, but followed a guide from tinternet and an hour later it was fitted and running!! Cant believe i didnt try this earlier. What a numpty. Dont mind admitting im a noob when it comes to getting my hands dirty and taking things to bits. Just hope it is problem solved and i dont knacker another battery. Just need some sunshine this weekend but a lot of you lot are away in France arent you? |

Yep, there are a few of us away in France, plenty are left behind though
I've got some sort of electrical problem with my Bandit. I've got the ZRX and while Kate gets her test sorted it hasn't been used for a while. I charged the battery, put it back on and still just a click... Not had the chance (or the will) to check it with another battery yet. I hope it is the battery and nothing more serious! _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

You checked the rear wheel alignment and the position of the tax disc holder? _________________

Yep, got a Bandit as well, was going to sell it but Kate decided she was going to do her test and have it, 6 months later, it still sits under a cover, no MOT, no Tax and no battery... If she doesn't hurry up it will have turned into brown dust! _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

New boots made me smile today, wearing them at the desk to encourage them to fit me better. They're awfully hard, I hope they do soften up a bit!
Question:
They are designed with some clever inside technology to stop you breaking your ankle. My question is, what breaks if not your ankle... Tib, fib or femour? _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

your knee probably. Either way you won't feel the pain after the bar end has got you in the bollocks on the way over the handlebars _________________

Nah, it's white, too slow!
Why you getting rid of it? Cleaning too much of a pain? I couldn't cope with a white bike, I don't know how people do it! _________________ It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes. - Douglas Adams.

nah thats the rider.
Its a very real possibility at the moment, might need to downsize back to a 600 ninja as the future looks a bit uncertain . Haven't made my mind up just yet, will see how things turn out over the winter. Really don't want to change but might have to. Great Bike though. _________________ -------------------------------- |
