Nope, never kill switched the ZRX, too scared of it blowing the cat out and killing the person behind me.
I will avoid purchasing a new can if I can, I was pleased with that one, quiet when it needs to be but noisy enough to excite me when the going gets going.
I'll have a look at it tonight maybe and see if it is fixable. I'll also measure my XR can for you and see if there is anything to be done with that.
All exhaust woes at the moment, the car needs some new mounts. Grrr |

It was spot welded in there by Mr Kawasaki. Cruel, cruel man. Something to do with European regulations though so you can't really blame him.

How badly blown up? Barry H re packed his Leo Vince cans when they blew the wadding out, so is it something that a bit of wadding and a pop rivet gun will fix?

I have no idea how it used to hold itself together, there are no (and never have been) rivets. It just kindo' pushes together but no longer stays together. I'll have a better look when I can.

IMO Micron were an excellent system and end can manufacturer. It's a real shame they closed down their motorcycle side to concentrate on their car stuff for Aston etc.

Having the 3rd silly crash in as many months. This time ive damged the bike mostly cosmetic and ive got a few grazes and torn Jacket. Jo rekons its cos its a Green bike so unlucky i keep telling her its cos im getting to old and slow. After the insurance company has mended the bike Z1000 thinking of getting a Pan. Jesus i really ache all over...

All i can remember is acelerating up the hill from Jo's. Then people around me helping me up. I was really badly winded. I think it was just a school boy error. Too much gas on a wet road. Ive been riding for around 20 years. Ive had 3 silly crashes this year.

Seriously, re the pan, I've always found 1100 is quite handy in the wet with about 3.2bhp and 8,000,000kg weight it takes a fair bit of hamfistedness to manage to upset it... in my experience anyway.

F*cking Doctors. Had to wait a week to get an appointment; referral letter from specialist supposed to be with me within 2 weeks, yeah right.. that was nearly 3weeks ago ffs, just rang and apparently he's not written to the specialist yet. Tosser. If I had the money right now I'd go private.

Croydon's Crimbo lights are being switched on today and they have set up a stage out front of the Whitgift centre which is 12 floors down from me and all I can hear at the moment is some talentless w&nker rapping along to a sodding backing track and its really fucking annouying
