Renewing my bike insurance and getting a £ 500 reduction in the premium and the £ 100 off the excess, protected ncb at no cost and TP cover for riding other bikes. Existing insurers were knocking only £ 400 off.
I did not shop around, Carole Nash did this without me even asking. Bike cost has now reduced from approx £ 800 for TPF&T only in London to £ 300 for Comp cover in t'sticks.
Interesting twist, if I do not garage the bike at home and it is stolen from here the excess is doubled for the claim. If I stay at someone's house or an hotel and the bike is not garaged, the excess remains unaltered. They could not answer what would happen if I left the bike outside to answer a call whilst washing it for example, however. |

Think I would rather pay a £10,000 premium than live in Reading _________________ Boxhill Chippendales

I was looking at a bike mag last night and the 'blade insurance was coming in at double that of the SS1000R BMW. A journo was running the pair via the mag but was doing a comparison on costs.
I run my cars on a fleet policy now and the total cost for all three (incl the 911) is less than the cost of the 911 alone in London. |

wmms?
Having to do 2 round trips to the hospital... in the snow in the 4wd was great fun. The local rat runs are hilly - and were deserted apart the odd BMW finding out about the laws of physics Fiinshed the evening with Ashley and a couple of his mates "drifting" in the local car park - makes a change from dogging I guess _________________ If you judge people, you have no time to love them. |
